Upland Police and Delco Narcotics Task Force officers seized "sizeable quantities" of heroin, cocaine, marijuana, and unspecified prescription pills while executing a search warrant, the department said.
Investigators said they also located scales, other drug paraphernalia, a sawed-off shotgun with ammunition, and $31,000 in cash. The contraband has been seized, along with two vehicles that police say are "associated with" an ongoing investigation.
Anthony Stone, 38, of Upland, was arrested in connection with the raid and now faces drug and weapons charges, the department said. He was serving parole for an attempted murder conviction before detectives took him into custody on Friday, they added.
According to state court records, Stone remains in the county jail in lieu of a $250,000 bail bond. He'll return to court on Wednesday, Feb. 15 for his preliminary hearing.
